A brand consolidation in our recreational and leisure product line.
CleanAHull is being unified into the HullSonic product family as the new HullSonic MAX range. The two brands have always shared the same architectural DNA, the same Australian-engineered transducer platform, and the same in-house manufacturing — we’re now consolidating them under a single name to simplify the market for customers, dealers, and the broader trade.
What’s changing, and what isn’t
What’s changing is the naming. CleanAHull, which historically served the larger recreational and light-commercial segment, becomes the HullSonic MAX range. The HullSonic brand now spans the full recreational and leisure spectrum, from entry-level systems through to MAX-class installations on larger vessels.
What isn’t changing: the engineering, the manufacturing, the field support, or the underlying ultrasonic antifouling architecture. Every CleanAHull system already in service retains full warranty coverage, parts availability, and service continuity through the same channels customers and distributors have always used. Nothing about the customer relationship needs to be renegotiated, re-registered, or re-papered.
Why now
Two reasons.
First, the recreational and leisure market has matured. Customers comparing ultrasonic antifouling options across yachts, motor cruisers, and large pleasure craft were having to navigate two brand names that overlapped substantially in technology and target use. The two-brand structure was a historical artefact of how the product family grew, not a market-driven distinction worth preserving.
Second, GLOBAtech’s resources are concentrated against the deep-sea commercial hull problem under the ENVSonic brand. Simplifying the recreational and leisure brand structure to a single product family with a clear MAX-class upper tier reduces operational drag and lets us focus more cleanly on both segments — ENVSonic for industrial and commercial, HullSonic (now including HullSonic MAX) for recreational and leisure.
